He had struck out one time, though that was a bit of a technicality as it was a weak foul pop that Chicago catcher Drew Romo had to get out of his crouch and turn around to catch.<\/p>\n Emerson, ranked the No. 4 overall prospect in the game by Baseball America, had two strong flyouts to right field Sunday and had a 101.2 mph lineout to the third baseman in his first trip to the plate Monday.
