Camera IconActing inspector Jeremy Davies Credit: Craig Duncan<\/p>\nBunbury Police are looking for Carey Park 26-year-old, Tashi Dewa who has been missing since August 12, last seen yesterday at Wellington Dam.<\/p>\n
Mr Dewa \u2014 described as being of medium build with short dark hair \u2014 was seen leaving a residence on Frankel Street, on his grey coloured mountain bike at 7.00am.<\/p>\n
He was last seen wearing black sandals with white socks, black shorts, a black long-sleeved jacket and was carrying a black backpack.<\/p>\n
Bunbury Police\u2019s acting inspector Jeremy Davies said the WA Police have done significant inquiries around the Bunbury area and following information from the public believe Mr Dewa was last seen riding a push bike in the vicinity of the Wellington dam approximately 42kms from Bunbury.<\/p>\n

\u201cAt the moment, Bunbury police and the SES, about 30 members, are conducting a land search,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe also have had drones looking through the water areas under the dam, and we are also calling on members of the public who might have been in and around the area.\u201d<\/p>\n
Acting inspector Davies said Mr Dewa is mobile, and police are expanding their search location.<\/p>\n
\u201cA couple of members of the public did speak to him, and he asked for help yesterday, so we\u2019re pretty confident if he\u2019s seen members of public will be able to speak to him and possibly offer assistance, but he might not ask for assistance,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
\u201cIf they see anything that they think is out of the ordinary, especially the landowners or any tourists or anyone else passing through the South West, if they see someone riding who they think it doesn\u2019t look right … certainly contact us and let us access the information.\u201d<\/p>\n
