Image: WTAC<\/p>\n<p>Held across two nights, the International Drifting Cup brings a different flavour to the WTAC, bridging the gap between high downforce track attack monsters and sideways, tyre-smoking machines.<\/p>\n<p>Traditionally, the International Drifting Cup has been held on Friday and Saturday. This year, the drifting portion of the event has been shifted forward to Thursday and Friday<\/p>\n<p>Thursday consists of practice and qualifying for the Top 16 drifters. The finals will be held on Friday night, opening up Saturday for the spectacular WTAC finale under lights.<\/p>\n<p>Saturday night is set to conclude with \u201cThe Ultimate Track Party\u201d, the details of which are yet to be announced.<\/p>\n<p>Returning to call and judge the drifting action are international names Jarrod DeAnda and Robbie Nishida.<\/p>\n<p>DeAnda is known as the \u201cVoice of Formula Drift\u201d, known for calling some of the world\u2019s biggest events.<\/p>\n<p>Nishida\u2019s career as a professional drifter offers fans unique insight into the driver\u2019s perspective.<\/p>\n<p>A statement from WTAC describes the party as a \u201cground-breaking addition to the WTAC experience\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>World Time Attack Challenge will be held at Sydney Motorsport Park on September 4-5, and tickets are now on sale.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/speedcafe.com\/motorsport-news-iconic-time-attack-cars-new-forza-horizon-dlc-pack-tim-slade-xtreme-gtr\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Australian-made Time Attack cars in new Forza Horizon<\/a><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/t.cfjump.com\/92797\/b\/250635\" rel=\"nofollow sponsored noopener\" data-bid=\"1\" data-no-instant=\"1\" target=\"_blank\"><br \/><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"border: none; vertical-align: middle;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/1777348516_29_250635.jpeg\" alt=\"\"\/><br \/><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"The World Time Attack Challenge has announced a schedule change focused on its drifting event.
