The British rider, who competes for the Lidl-Trek development team, shared his experience on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/DYh09sjiFUD\/?img_index=1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">social media<\/a> after being struck by a motorcycle.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOver a week ago, I was hit by a motorcycle during a descent while training in Girona and had a pretty hard fall,\u201d Hudson wrote alongside a photo of himself in the hospital. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cAfter 24 hours, I was allowed to go home, but unfortunately, I was diagnosed with a compression fracture in my T8 vertebra. I am now recovering at home,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>Hudson thanks bystanders<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis week has been pretty tough, but the support and help I received from Lidl-Trek, Trinity, and all the cyclists who were immediately on the scene was incredible,\u201d Hudson concluded on a positive note.<\/p>\n<p>Hudson\u2014<a href=\"https:\/\/www.idlprocycling.com\/cycling\/winning-the-junior-world-championship-title-and-announced-at-lidl-trek-less-than-an-hour-later-the-story-of-harry-hudson\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">who impressively won the Junior World Championship in Rwanda last year<\/a>\u2014is now taking the time he needs to recover. Among those sending their best wishes in the comments is Philippe Gilbert. The Belgian advised, \u201cI wish you all the best with your recovery!
