The crash \u2014 located on Meadow Street at Great Eastern Highway \u2014 was reported by Main Roads at 4.05pm on Wednesday and has resulted in the cancellation of trains between Bayswater and Midland.<\/p>\n
Police say truck and train collided at the Meadow Street railway crossing.<\/p>\n
Eyewitnesses say a tipper truck with two trailers was travelling east along Great Eastern Highway when it turned left at the traffic lights at Meadow Street.<\/p>\n
The truck then entered the Meadow Street railway crossing and went through the boom gate as the train approached, which then hit the truck\u2019s second trailer, according to reports.<\/p>\n

A bobcat was thrown from the second trailer upon impact, which landed on the tracks, and eyewitnesses say another part of the truck was dislodged which hit a nearby four wheel drive.<\/p>\n
Early reports from police say there are no life-threatning injuries, but a woman in her thirties and two toddlers are being treated for injuries at the incident scene.<\/p>\n
Meadow Street has also been closed in both directions and emergency services are on the scene.<\/p>\n
The Public Transport Authority say train passengers are being safely removed from the carriages.<\/p>\n
Transperth warned the incident is also causing delays on the Airport, Ellenbrook and Fremantle train lines.<\/p>\n
\u201cTrain replacement buses are being organised between Bayswater and Midland. Please allow extra travelling time and be aware that replacement buses may not connect with timetabled bus and train services,\u201d Transperth said.<\/p>\n
