BOULDER \u2013 Colorado finished the season ranked No. 75 in the final ITA poll, marking 11 times this season, the most since 2010.<\/p>\n
Despite finishing the season 10-13, the Buffs found themselves ranked among the best teams in the nation week in and week out. Colorado found itself 10-4 early in the Big 12 schedule after upsetting No. 28 Oklahoma State at home.<\/p>\n
Early in the season, CU also posted wins over Minnesota, UNLV, and Iowa State, which helped CU rise as high as No. 51, the highest since 2024.<\/p>\n
The rest of the season was tough for the Buffs, who battled despite a heavy string of injuries in the back half of the schedule. But as the consistent rankings showed, Colorado made big strides as a team.<\/p>\n
Finishing with 10 wins gave the third double-digit win season since 2020; the victory over No. 28 Oklahoma State was the highest -ranked victory since 2023, and following that match, Aya El Sayed<\/a> was named Big 12 Conference Player of the Week, the first since 2023.<\/p>\n El Sayed was also named Second-Team All-Big 12. El Sayed was the sixth Buff to be honored in three different seasons and the first since Julyette Steur from 2013-2015.<\/p>\n Off the court, the Buffs excelled, finishing with a 3.38 fall team GPA.
