The trailer for the new Kanye West<\/a> documentary In Whose Name?<\/a> premiered on Wednesday, featuring a conversation between him and his former wife<\/a>, Kim Kardashian<\/a>.\n<\/p>\n Roughly a minute long, the trailer begins with West, 48, walking around a circle made up of Yeezy sneakers, presumably from his Forbes cover story shoot in 2019<\/a>. The rapper is heard saying in a voiceover, ”I\u2019m off my meds for five months now.\u201d\n<\/p>\n The video then cuts to a clip of West closing a door marked with Kardashian’s name on it. “Your personality was not like this a few years ago,” she says through tears.\n<\/p>\n Kim Kardashian talking to Kanye West in the trailer for ‘In Whose Name?’.<\/p>\n In Who’s Name<\/p>\n After a few clips, including one where West and his eldest daughter, North<\/a>, 11, are riding in the back of a vehicle, West says angrily, “Never tell me I’m gonna wake up one day and have nothing.”\n<\/p>\n The camera then cuts to Kardashian, 44, who says, “We can talk about that later, but,\u201d before West stops her to say, \u201cIt ain\u2019t no but!\u201d\n<\/p>\n Per\u00a0Deadline,<\/a>\u00a0the documentary features footage filmed over six years by director Nico Ballesteros. It is set to\u00a0be released\u00a0on approximately 1,000 screens on Sept. 19.\u00a0<\/p>\n West, who has a\u00a0history of virulent antisemitism,<\/a>\u00a0was dropped by his talent agent in February following one of his antisemitic rants.\u00a0\n<\/p>\n The trailer does not touch on West’s hate speech. Either they destroy me or I destroy it,” and “They’re killing our ability to think outside of the box.”\n<\/p>\n The trailer ends with West saying, “You know the best thing about being an artist and bipolar? According to the Mayo Clinic<\/a>, the mental health condition “causes extreme mood swings,” including emotional highs and lows.\n<\/p>\n Amid a series of alarming tweets in 2020, Kardashian spoke out about West’s health<\/a>, asking for compassion. She would go on to file for divorce in February 2021<\/a>.\n<\/p>\n
