Did the Seattle Seahawks<\/a> ace the 2023 NFL Draft when looking back in retrospect three years later?<\/p>\n

The Seahawks<\/a> selected 10 players in the draft that year, including Devon Witherspoon<\/a>, Jaxon Smith-Njigba<\/a>, Derick Hall<\/a>, Zach Charbonnet<\/a>, Anthony Bradford<\/a>, Cameron Young, Mike Morris<\/a>, Olu Oluwatimi<\/a>, Jerrick Reed II<\/a> and Kenny McIntosh<\/a>. The amount of talent that Seattle walked away with is astounding in hindsight.<\/p>\n

According to CBS Sports\u2019 Pete Prisco<\/a> in his regrading of the 2023 draft, the Seahawks were given an \u2018A+\u2019 for the haul that they came away with in all seven rounds after initially getting a \u2018B+\u2019 in the immediate aftermath of the event.<\/p>\n

Witherspoon was named a second-team All-Pro honoree in 2025 and has become one of the best cornerbacks in the NFL. Smith-Njigba, a two-time 1,000-yard receiver, had a prolific season in 2025 that culminated in him winning the AP NFL Offensive Player of Year award.<\/p>\n

Hall has been a relentless pass rusher for the Seahawks in his career, while Charbonnet has given Seattle a talented running back capable of recording volume yardage in the ground game.<\/p>\n

Bradford is not the most lauded of the bunch and has been criticized for his play, but the Seahawks did come away with a center that they\u2019ve used as a starter and a reserve with Oluwatimi. McIntosh went for 172 rushing yards in 2024 before missing the entire 2025 season with a torn ACL.<\/p>\n

Morris has recorded 26 total tackles and two tackles for loss in three seasons with Seattle. Reed II and Young are no longer with the team.<\/p>\n

The Seahawks have several elite players and key starters that all come from the draft in 2023. Nothing less than a perfect grade is warranted for the front office for its work in the event.<\/p>\n
