Alcock, 26, began by saying that when she starred in the Australian TV series Upright at 18, she was still living in her family home.<\/p>\n
“I was living in the attic in my family home because we didn’t have enough rooms \u2013 it was so hot in there,” she said.<\/p>\n

She was also working in a popular Sydney restaurant \ufeffat the time as a dishwasher.<\/p>\n
“I was a stick of a thing. I was washing these dishes so proudly and so terribly, and it was an open kitchen, so everyone could see me.”<\/p>\n
Following her stint on the Aussie comedy, she snagged her breakout role as Rhaenyra Targaryen \ufeffin the Game of Thrones prequel House of the Dragon.<\/p>\n
