"2026

We have expert betting tips for the CJ Cup Byron Nelson this week, which features some of the world’s best PGA Tour golfers.

Scottie Scheffler headlines betting markets at $2.50, and he’s the clear favourite to end his winless streak. However, he has strong opposition in the form of Jordan Spieth, Si Woo Kim, and Brooks Koepka.

We look at the best CJ Cup Byron Nelson picks, including our best bet, best roughie, and top 10.

Best BetScottie Scheffler @ $2.50

The odds are short for Scheffler to win the CJ Cup Byron Nelson, but he’s desperate for a win, and he’s the only top-rated player in the world teeing it up.

The likes of Cameron Young, Rory McIlroy, and the rest of the top 10 are having a week off following the PGA Championship, but with Scheffler going close without winning so many times this year, he wants the win more than most.

It’s rare to be in late May and Scheffler has only one win on the year. He’s not playing at his best, but even his 5/10 game is good enough to beat this field, so he should win comfortably as long as his putter cooperates.

We’re happy to include the odds in our golf bets this week.

Best Value BetJordan Spieth @ $17.00

Many believe Jordan Spieth isn’t far away from having a second coming in his golf career, and his recent results suggest that he’s close.

The American was one of the best golfers in the world around 10 years ago, and although his career nosedived, he has always worked hard at his game, and another win shouldn’t be too far away, especially against easier PGA Tour field.

When Brooks Koepka is on the fourth line of betting, you know it’s a weak field, and if he can beat Scheffler, that might be enough to win. Punters get $17, which is a good value bet with CJ Cup Byron Nelson picks.

Best RoughieBlades Brown @ $51.00

The man with the best name in golf is a good winning chance. Blades Brown is the youngest player on the PGA Tour, and although his best performances have come against easier fields, he could play well at the CJ Cup.

The 18-year-old was thrown into the big time at a young age, and we’re happy to give him time to mature. He shot 60 at The American Express in January, which was the course record, so he can go low.

He’ll need a couple of sub-67 rounds to compete with the likes of Scheffler and Spieth, but he’s capable, and $51 is worth the risk.

Next BestTom Kim @ $51.00

Tom Kim burst onto the scene as a youngster, and he picked up a few wins. However, his recent form isn’t anywhere near his best, but it should only be a matter of time before he regains it.

The South Korean has been playing for Tiger Woods’ team in the TGL League, and that should give him enough confidence to play well on a real course.

We’re not sure what has changed in his swing, but if he’s close to his best, he should play well at the CJ Cup Byron Nelson at massive odds.

Top 10Taylor Pendrith @ $4.20

Taylor Pendrith played well at the PGA Championship when posting a T44 finish, and he should use that momentum to play well this week.

The Canadian is a former winner of the CJ Cup Byron Nelson when winning in 2024 and having experience winning this event only helps his chances of finishing in the top 10.

Punters get $4.20, and those odds are worth including in golf picks.
