\n\tFor the penultimate episode of The Late Show<\/a>, host Stephen Colbert<\/a> answered his iconic \u201cColbert Questionert.\u201d The recurring segment includes 15 questions, which were finally directed at Colbert himself. <\/p>\n

\n\tBut instead of enlisting just one person to ask the questions, Colbert brought in some of his most famous friends. Former\u00a0CBS Evening News\u00a0anchor\u00a0John Dickerson stepped in to administer the segment, introducing each of the famous guests: Billy Crystal<\/a>, \u201cWeird Al\u201d Yankovic, Josh Brolin<\/a>, Martha Stewart<\/a>, Mark Hamill<\/a>, Jim Gaffigan, Jeff Daniels, Tiffany Haddish, Evie McGee Colbert, Amy Sedaris, Ben Stiller, Aubrey Plaza<\/a>, James Taylor, and Robert De Niro<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\n\tCrystal kicked things off with \u201cWhat is the best sandwich?\u201d Colbert waffled a little bit in his answer, but eventually concluded, \u201cKatz\u2019s Deli\u2019s hot pastrami sandwich, that\u2019s the best sandwich.\u201d Brolin asked \u201cWhat is the scariest animal?\u201d (a trapdoor spider) while Hamill asked if Colbert had ever asked someone else for an autograph. <\/p>\n<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI did a bit with Steve Martin years ago, the first time I ever had him on the old show,\u201d the host replied. \u201cA huge fan of Steve Martin. Like he\u2019s in my Mount Rushmore of comedy, and as part of it, we were talking about a painting and we added to the painting a little cutout of Steve\u2019s head. It was from his headshot. And when the show was over, I said, \u2018Hey, would you mind signing this?\u2019 So he just signed across the top of his face, and I had it framed on a lovely little background and hung in my office. But I hung it, or whoever hung it, hung it where there used to be a clock in my office, and so we\u2019re always on deadline here and that clock is just spinning around super fast, so I would just look up to see what time it was and there would be the picture. So I like to say in my office, \u2018It\u2019s always Steve Martin o\u2019clock.’\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tColbert told Daniels that his favorite action movie is\u00a0Raiders of the Lost Ark, and explained to Haddish that he prefers aisle seats over window seats on planes because he has \u201cthe bladder of a baby chipmunk.\u201d Later, his wife Evie came out to ask for his favorite smell. <\/p>\n<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cMy favorite smell is when we are going out someplace and you go upstairs to get ready first,\u201d he told her. \u201cAnd then I come up to follow you and when I get to like the top of the stairs, I know that you\u2019ve already gotten out of the shower because I can smell that like rose lotion. And I know that you\u2019re in there wearing very little.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tDickerson posed the final question: \u201cHow would you describe the rest of your life in five words?\u201d Colbert replied, \u201cMy family, my friends, fun.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
