\n\tLionsgate<\/a> Studios blew past Wall Street forecasts for its fiscal fourth quarter ended in March as The Housemaid<\/a> buoyed results at the motion picture group.<\/p>\n

\n\tSegment revenue of $651.9 million and sprofit of $187.1 million grew by 23% and 39%, respectively, year-over-year, with the ancillary performance of Now You See Me: Now You Don\u2019t and strong library sales in the mix as well. The Housemaid grossed nearly $400 million at the worldwide box office, had a great PVOD run and became the top Pay One title ever on Starz.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe two recently split into separate public companies.<\/p>\n

\n\tSequel The Housemaid\u2019s Secret is set for release December 17, 2027.<\/p>\n

\n\tTelevision Production revenue of $254.6 million and profit of $30.5 million declined from the prior year quarter due to the timing of episodic deliveries. The company anticipates doubling scripted deliveries in fiscal 2027 from 2026.<\/p>\n

\n\tConsolidated revenue rose to $906 million from $865 million as the company swung to a net profit of $70 million.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe shares are up nicely, about 5%, in after-hours trade.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cAll of the pieces of our business are coming together \u2013 our library has achieved a billion dollars in trailing 12-month revenue for three quarters in a row, more than half of our fulm, television and live entertainment slates are comprised of branded, repeatable properties, and massive hits like The Housemaid and Michael are strengthening our brand and increasing our forward visibility,\u201d said Lionsgate CEO Jon Feltheimer. \u201cWe enter fiscal \u201927 positioned to deliver the earnings<\/a> power and value creation that our shareholders expect.<\/p>\n
