(ABC News)<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph_paragraph___QITb\">Officers were inspecting what appeared to be a pair of partly burned shoes at the site.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph_paragraph___QITb\">Fire Rescue Victoria (FRV) said the fire was reported by multiple people, and crews arrived at the scene within three minutes.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph_paragraph___QITb\">&#8220;Firefighters worked quickly to contain the blaze and searched the area for occupants,&#8221; an FRV spokesperson said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph_paragraph___QITb\">&#8220;The fire has been deemed suspicious and will be investigated by Victoria Police.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"An officer and a burnt shoe.\" class=\"Image_image__5tFYM ContentImage_image__DQ_cq\"  src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/d001f419f9f8f323a4471c2e8b5bbdb1.jpeg\" loading=\"lazy\" data-component=\"Image\" data-lazy=\"true\"\/><\/p>\n<p class=\"Typography_base__sj2RP FigureCaption_text__zDxQ5 Typography_sizeMobile12__w_FPC Typography_lineHeightMobile20___U7Vr Typography_regular__WeIG6 Typography_colourInherit__dfnUx\" data-component=\"Typography\">Police were seen inspecting what appeared to be a pair of burnt shoes at the scene.
