To go along with MVP MMA\u2019s plans, one of the most important figures in the sport will return to promoting with a new league next year.<\/p>\n<p>Former Bellator head Scott Coker <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bjpenn.com\/mma-news\/scott-coker\/former-bellator-boss-scott-coker-speaks-out-on-new-mma-league-i-always-knew-i-wanted-to-come-back-when-the-time-was-right\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">announced a $60 million investment<\/a> from professional skateboarder Tony Hawk and others to launch a new MMA promotion in 2027. After the Professional Fighters League purchased Bellator in 2024, Coker was relieved from his position after a long tenure as the head executive of Bellator and Strikeforce.<\/p>\n<p>Despite the excitement surrounding Coker\u2019s return to MMA, Paul believes the juice won\u2019t be worth the lucrative squeeze.<\/p>\n<p>Jake Paul shares cold-blooded reaction to Scott Coker\u2019s return to MMA<\/p>\n<p>In a recent <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/jakepaul\/status\/2057589262678184405?s=20\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">tweet<\/a>, Paul questioned Coker\u2019s eight-figure investment in returning to MMA promoting.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNeed to see the investors backing this and let them know that they gonna lose all their money. I feel like Superman trying to help them,\u201d Paul said of Coker.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWow Jake such a good guy.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Paul and Coker were briefly linked to a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bjpenn.com\/mma-news\/bellator\/scott-coker-shares-the-competition-level-he-would-put-logan-and-jake-paul-up-against-in-bellator-somebody-ranked-in-the-top-10-or-maybe-towards-8-or-9\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">potential MMA partnership in 2022<\/a>, after the then-Bellator head teased potentially signing the polarizing combat sports star to a contract. Paul went on to sign with the Professional Fighters League, but parted ways with the league earlier this year and never made an appearance in the cage.<\/p>\n<p>Coker\u2019s new promotional brand name and other details are yet to be announced, but Paul isn\u2019t expecting much of a threat to MVP MMA from the longtime executive.<\/p>\n<p>Who should Jake Paul fight next in the boxing ring?
