And Dunstall agreed, while teammate Luke Ryan was full of praise for the \u201cselfless role\u201d the big forward played.<\/p>\n
\u201cIf he continues to do this job \u2013 he\u2019s incredibly valuable for the Dockers,\u201d Dunstall said.<\/p>\n

Ryan said Voss thrived when given a physical challenge \u2013 and he took it right up to Wilkie from the opening bounce.<\/p>\n
But not only that, the big forward nailed three goals and had six score involvements in Fremantle\u2019s 10th straight victory.<\/p>\n
\u201cVossy loves doing those roles,\u201d Ryan told foxfooty.com.au.<\/p>\n
\u201cHe\u2019s done it on Darcy Moore, Harris Andrews, and Cal Wilkie is probably the best defender in the comp! <\/p>\n
\u201cHe leads all the intercepts so it\u2019s great respect to him.<\/p>\n
\u201cGreat from Vossy to play a selfless game, but also get a lick of the ice cream and bring other teammates into it.\u201d<\/p>\n
But Saints coach Ross Lyon described the Voss tactics as \u201ca bit of a floor show\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cI just thought to be honest the first 30 seconds was bizarre! But I\u2019ll leave that when there was an umpire right there,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe\u2019re all big boys. We love the competitive spirit \u2013 I don\u2019t know, I\u2019m not the umpire.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt was interesting some of it early.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe umpire was right there so if they don\u2019t pay it, it must be within the laws and the spirit of the game. That\u2019s OK.<\/p>\n
\u201cI thought Wilkie got to work.<\/p>\n
\u201cIn the end I think it became a none issue. I thought it was a bit of a floor show. Each to their own.\u201d<\/p>\n
Coach Justin Longmuir said Voss was given a role to play by forwards coach Jaymie Graham this week, and stuck to task.<\/p>\n
\u201cI didn\u2019t see it like that (Voss being an instigator),\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

\u201cJaymie Graham felt if Vossy could get in behind him and own his back, that was the way to play him.<\/p>\n
\u201cI would imagine Cal wants to play behind and then read the play from there \u2013 that\u2019s the way I saw that tussle.<\/p>\n
