Kabba joins a revamped frontcourt that already includes transfers<a href=\"https:\/\/www.thesetonian.com\/article\/2026\/05\/mens-basketball-adds-6-foot-10-shot-blocker-devin-williams-out-of-transfer-portal\" target=\"\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\"> Devin Williams<\/a> (FAU), <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thesetonian.com\/article\/2026\/05\/mens-basketball-lands-former-rutgers-forward-chris-nwuli-out-of-transfer-portal\" target=\"\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Chris Nwuli <\/a>(Rutgers) and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thesetonian.com\/article\/2026\/04\/mens-basketball-adds-brazilian-forward-nathan-mariano-from-the-g-league\" target=\"\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Nathan Mariano<\/a> (NBA G-League).<\/p>\n<p>Kabba spent the 2025-26 season with the <a href=\"https:\/\/catamountsports.com\/sports\/mens-basketball\" target=\"\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Western Carolina Catamounts<\/a> appearing in 31 games and averaging 4.7 points, 5.8 rebounds and 0.9 blocks per game. Before transferring to Western Carolina, Kabba played his freshman season at <a href=\"https:\/\/denverpioneers.com\/sports\/mens-basketball\" target=\"\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Denver<\/a>, where he averaged 4.4 points, 4.6 rebounds and 1.2 blocks per game.<\/p>\n<p>One of the most underrated aspects of Kabba\u2019s game is his impact on the glass, especially offensively. Last season, he averaged 2.8 offensive rebounds per game and used his 7-foot-5 wingspan to create second-chance opportunities for the Catamounts.<\/p>\n<p>With the addition of Kabba, SHU continues to add size and depth to its roster ahead of the 2026-27 season.
