Harry Styles lost his virginity to Radiohead.<\/p>\n
To be clear, he didn\u2019t sleep with anyone from the rock band, but he recently revealed their song, \u201cTalk Show Host,\u201d was playing while he did the deed for the first time.<\/p>\n
Styles appeared at the 2026 Ivor Novello Awards to introduce Academy Fellowship winner Thom Yorke, the main singer for Radiohead. \u201cTheir debut album came out the year before I was born,\u201d the \u201cAmerican Girls\u201d singer said in his speech. \u201cI\u2019m just gonna let that sink.\u201d<\/p>\n
He continued, \u201cSo I discovered their songs over time growing up, inhaling second-hand teenage angst from up the stairs separating my sister\u2019s bedroom from where I sat below doing my homework. I found them again at parties and treasured moments alone.\u201d<\/p>\n
That\u2019s when Styles went full TMI. \u201cI lost my virginity to \u2018Talk Show Host,\u2019\u201d he confessed, prompting a huge roar of laughter from the audience. The Grammy winner then joked that the intimate encounter only lasted as long as the song\u2019s intro.<\/p>\n
I mean, I guess there are worse songs to play during your first time.<\/p>\n
\u201cThom\u2019s work is music that is felt. It\u2019s always been somewhat of a religious experience to me. Religious in the sense that understanding seemed to go both ways,\u201d Styles continued. \u201cI cannot overstate how his work has influenced my belief in the purpose of the arts in our world today, and I cannot overstate how much his work continues to influence me.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cWithout \u2018Exit Music\u2019 there would be no \u2018Watermelon Sugar,\u2019\u201d he added. \u201cImagine that. A world without that song. It doesn\u2019t bear thinking about.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s an honor to be here tonight to present Thom with this recognition of his enduring influence on British music. Radiohead is my favorite band,\u201d Styles said at the end of his speech. \u201cThank you, Thom, forever.\u201d<\/p>\n
