St George Illawarra has been booed off the field after its winless NRL season continued with a 30-12 loss to the Warriors in Kogarah.<\/p>\n

The defeat left the Dragons with a 0-11 win-loss record in 2026 and, not for the first time this year, their own fans jeered the team off the park.<\/p>\n

There were similar scenes as they trailed 16-0 at half-time in an eventual 32-0 loss to the Cowboys in round five<\/a>.<\/p>\n

“We’re in a tough spot and we appreciate all the fans turning up tonight,” coach Dean Young said.<\/p>\n

“Where we’re sitting on the ladder and to have so many of those fans turn up, pay their hard-earned, sitting in the pouring rain. We appreciate it.”<\/p>\n

Young said the team had a fan day on Sunday.<\/p>\n

“All the boys are gonna be thanking every one of them that turns up tomorrow,” he said.<\/p>\n

“Stay with us. we’re building.”<\/p>\n

In unfortunate news for Young and his team, they are on the road for the next four games \u2014 travelling to Brisbane, Cronulla, Canberra and Newcastle \u2014 although that could be a blessing considering the treatment they received at home.<\/p>\n

In Saturday’s second game, Manly continued its strong form under interim boss Kieran Foran, grinding out a 12-10 win over Gold Coast at Brookvale Oval in the lowest scoring game of the year.<\/p>\n

Sea Eagles coach Kieran Foran says “it certainly wasn’t our best performance” but is pleased with a “gritty” win.<\/p>\n

It’s easy to forget because of how well they’re playing that they’re without Tom Trbojevic, Haumole Olakau’atu, Tolu Koula and Lehi Hopoate, some of their best strike weapons.<\/p>\n

“The boys are taking ownership of that. They’re the ones driving the standards. We talk about it doesn’t matter who comes in or out,” Foran says.<\/p>\n

Jake Trbojevic enjoyed the battle in the wet.<\/p>\n

“It was good. It was nice for fans too to have a 12-10 game, a bit of an old school game.”<\/p>\n

As a number of players have done this week, Jamal Fogarty ends his post-match interview with Fox to give a shoutout to Jai Arrow after the revelation that he has been diagnosed with motor neurone disease<\/a>.<\/p>\n

“I played with him up on the Gold Coast and he’s in a tough situation,” Fogarty says.<\/p>\n

“I know the whole rugby league community is gonna be behind him. He’s someone with such a big heart and his whole career he’s helped out others, so it’s time for the NRL, the RLPA, our rugby league community to get behind one of our own and support him through this tough time.<\/p>\n

After so many try-fests, this 22-point outing pips the Bulldogs’ 14-10 win over the Raiders in round three as the stingiest scoring game this season.<\/p>\n

Was it pretty? No, almost certainly not. But it was gritty footy played by two teams willing to throw the ball around and eager to aim up in defence.<\/p>\n

“Sometimes you’ve just got to win ugly,” Jamal Fogarty tells Fox.<\/p>\n

Manly has to be commended as Fozball claims a seventh victim in eight games, but the fight from the Titans was admirable considering all the field position and possession going against them.<\/p>\n

Of course, a lot of that came down to their own errors, which is what will no doubt disappoint Josh Hannay the most.<\/p>\n
