Giants quarterback Jaxson Dart was sacked by one of his own teammates on Saturday \u2014 for having the balls to introduce President Donald Trump during a New York rally.<\/p>\n

\u201cThought this s\u2013t was AI, what we doing man,\u201d ripped Giants linebacker Abdul Carter on X in response to a video of Dart introducing the president a day earlier during an event at Rockland Community College in Suffern.<\/p>\n

Dart, 23, walked on stage to Survivor\u2019s \u201cEye of the Tiger\u201d on Friday and opened his speech by saying \u201cBig Blue nation, it\u2019s a pleasure to be here,\u201d before getting the conservative crowd to kickoff a \u201cGo Big Blue!\u201d chant.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat an honor, what a privilege it is to be here,\u201d said Dart before introducing Trump.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The president greeted the sophomore star signal-caller with a hug and a handshake before discussing a wide variety of policies, including his desire to lower taxes and his ban on transgender athletes competing in women\u2019s sports.<\/p>\n

\u201cI want to thank Jaxson Dart, this is going to be a future Hall of Famer in my book,\u201d Trump predicted.<\/p>\n

\u201cThank you, thank you Jaxson. Lot of talent.\u201d<\/p>\n

Carter, 22, was drafted third overall by the Giants in 2025 \u2013 22 spots before Big Blue later selected Dart in the first round.<\/p>\n

Former Giants kicker Lawrence Tynes said Carter should have never fired off the post.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe locker room is a sacred place because it brings together everyone from all walks of life and beliefs for one common goal,\u201d Tynes said.<\/p>\n

\u201cCalling a teammate out publicly for his political views and to get attention is nasty work.\u201d<\/p>\n

However, Giants right tackle Jermaine Eluemunor said the \u201clocker room is fine,\u201d responding to an X post by Boston Globe reporter Ben Volin that alleged Dart \u201cdivided his locker room\u201d by introducing Trump.<\/p>\n

Giant fans are hoping Dart is their first true franchise quarterback since two-time Super Bowl MVP Eli Manning retired in 2020.<\/p>\n

Dart, a former Ole Miss star, brought energy and swagger to the position during his 14 appearances and 12 starts last season, despite the team going 4-8 in his starts and 4-13 overall.<\/p>\n

He finished with 2,272 passing yards, 15 touchdowns, five interceptions and a 63.7 percent completion percentage. He also added 487 rushing yards and nine scores on the ground.<\/p>\n

Carter got off to a slow start to his rookie season but finished with 43 tackles, four sacks and two fumble recoveries. The ex-Penn State star is still considered a cornerstone of the Giants\u2019 defense under new coach John Harbaugh.\u00a0<\/p>\n
