Jaxon Dart<\/a> introduced President Donald Trump at a rally at Rockland Community College in Suffern, New York, on Friday. The New York Giants<\/a>\u2019 quarterback\u2019s appearance quickly drew a response from one of his teammates<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Replying to a video of Dart introducing Trump, linebacker Abdul Carter<\/a> responded, \u201cthought this sh** was AI, what we doing man.\u201d<\/p>\n

Predictably, that post drew plenty of attention in the worlds of both politics and sports. While some worried about a division in the Giants\u2019 locker room, Carter posted later Saturday that he and Dart are \u201cgood\u201d after chatting things out.<\/p>\n

Carter\u2019s original post is still up.<\/p>\n

After the introduction, Trump said Dart is a \u201cfuture Hall of Famer,\u201d that the second-year quarterback has a \u201clot of talent,\u201d is a \u201cbeautiful guy,\u201d and has \u201clegs like tree trunks.\u201d<\/p>\n

Carter wasn\u2019t the only NFL player to respond to Dart\u2019s introduction of Trump. New Orleans Saints<\/a> defensive end Cam Jordan<\/a> responded to a social media post<\/a> with \u201csounds bout ole miss,\u201d referring to Dart\u2019s alma mater.<\/p>\n

Carter and Dart were the Giants\u2019 two first-round draft picks in 2025, with the linebacker going third overall and the quarterback selected 25th. Carter started all 17 games last season, while Dart eventually assumed the starting quarterback job as the season went on.<\/p>\n
