Patrick Habirora may very well be Belgium\u2019s hope for a major MMA title.<\/p>\n
The undefeated 25-year-old needed just 20 seconds to knock out former WEC and UFC champion Benson Henderson on Saturday in the welterweight main event of PFL Brussels. Habirora (9-0) downed Henderson (30-13) with a looping left hand, then sealed the deal with several follow-up shots, igniting a delirious hometown crowd at the ING Arena in Brussels, Belgium.<\/p>\n

It was Habirora\u2019s eighth knockout of his nine professional victories<\/a>, seven of which have now ended in the first round.<\/p>\n \u201cMaximum applause for the legend Benson Henderson, please guys,\u201d Habirora said post-fight, saluting the 42-year-old legend. \u201cRespect.\u201d<\/p>\n Habirora then called out BKFC star Mike Perry, who returned to MMA earlier this month in a winning effort over Nate Diaz<\/a> on Netflix and MVP\u2019s inaugural MMA event.<\/p>\n \u201cHey Mike Perry, if you\u2019re coming to PFL, let\u2019s go.\u201d<\/p>\n Henderson has now lost five of his past seven MMA bouts, getting finished in the first round in three of them.
