The ongoing feud between Jaylen Brown and Stephen A. Smith continued on Sunday. <\/p>\n
The Boston Celtics star responded to the ESPN personality’s recent comments on First Take during his Twitch stream. <\/p>\n
Brown also reacted to being named Second Team All-NBA on Sunday and shouted out his teammate, Derrick White, for making All-Defense. <\/p>\n
Brown is coming off the best season of his career, in which he averaged 28.7 points, 6.9 rebounds and 5.1 assists per game, carrying Boston to the No. 2 seed despite Jayson Tatum being out for the majority of the season. <\/p>\n
But Brown said his best is yet to come. <\/p>\n
“I feel like I’m coming into my prime,” he said<\/a> on his stream. “I haven’t reached my limit yet.”<\/p>\n Brown added that he hopes to spend the offseason working out with greats like Steve Nash, Kevin Garnett, James Harden and Hakeem Olajuwon. <\/p>\n While the story of the offseason should be the Celtics regrouping to try to make a title run after a first-round playoff exit, it’s largely been consumed so far by the beef between Brown and Smith. <\/p>\n After the Celtics’ season ended, Brown took to Twitch<\/a> to vocalize some of his frustrations with the officiating in Boston’s first-round series with Philadelphia and called out Sixers’ star Joel Embiid. <\/p>\n
