Image: Supplied<\/p>\n<p>A GoFundMe has been set up on behalf of the Kiwi-born, UK-based driver coach to help facilitate a life-saving kidney transplant.<\/p>\n<p>Having battled kidney failure for two years, Wilson\u2019s saviour is his own doctor Georges Kaye, who has generously offered to donate a kidney.<\/p>\n<p>While the surgery itself is covered by the United Kingdom\u2019s National Health Service, this money will go towards keeping Kay\u2019s business running during his recovery from surgery.<\/p>\n<p>The target is \u00a3185,000 (just shy of $350,000) with some big names dipping into their pockets to get to the current tally of \u00a380,000.<\/p>\n<p>Among them are high-profile Supercars figures including Cam Waters, Thomas Randle, Kai Allen, Jack Perkins, Greg Murphy and Adrian Burgess, and Carrera Cup team owner Andy McElrea.<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-929511\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/IMG_9669-scaled-e1720736297636.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1821\" height=\"1216\"  \/><\/p>\n<p>Thomas Randle and Rob Wilson in the UK.
