D\ufeffespite being the most nominated artist at this year’s American Music Awards<\/a>, Taylor Swift<\/a> will not be in attendance.<\/p>\n

While some fans thought she may have just skipped the red carpet, People<\/a> has confirmed the Fate of Ophelia<\/a> singer won’t be attending the awards ceremony.<\/p>\n

This is despite the fact \ufeffSwift, 36, is nominated for eight awards this year for her album The Life of a Showgirl<\/a>. One can only assume she’s too busy planning a wedding!<\/p>\n

With 40 AMAs under her belt, the singer is already the most awarded artist in the award show’s history, beating Michael Jackson (who won 26) and Whitney Houston (22).<\/p>\n

The singer has been spotted out and about in New York City with her fianc\u00e9, Travis Kelce, over the past few weeks.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the AMAs are held at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.<\/p>\n

Swift is rumoured to be getting married in New York in July, but the singer also has a busy schedule ahead of her big day.<\/p>\n

Just two days ago, Swift and Kelce were spotted at a New York Knicks and Cleveland Cavaliers NBA Game at Rocket Arena\ufeff, New York.<\/p>\n

On June 11, the performer will be inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in New York City.<\/p>\n

There, she will make history as the youngest woman to ever be inducted into the organisation. \ufeff<\/p>\n

Just a few weeks later, she is expected to tie the knot in a private, yet supposedly massive, wedding ceremony in the Big Apple.<\/p>\n

The guest list is reported to include stars like Ed Sheeran, Zoe Kravitz and Gigi Hadid.<\/p>\n

\ufeffAside from planning a wedding and making history once again, the singer has had a whirlwind 12 months.<\/p>\n

She wrapped up her record-breaking Eras Tour and released her 12th studio album, The Life of a Showgirl. \ufeff<\/p>\n

The album unsurprisingly shattered records, with the best first-week album sales in modern history.<\/p>\n
