TV host Samantha Armytage has revealed her \u201cbeautiful\u201d grandmother died last week after reaching the incredible milestone age of 100.<\/p>\n
The 49-year-old journalist took to Instagram on Tuesday to announce the tragic news to her more than 262,000 followers, who offered heartfelt messages and condolences to her grieving family.<\/p>\n
Her grandmother\u2019s death comes six years after her mother Libby died in 2020 after a long battle with an autoimmune disease and two years after her dog Banjo died suddenly in 2024.<\/p>\n
\u201cLast week ~ we laid our beautiful Nanny Flannery to rest,\u201d Armytage said in an Instagram post.<\/p>\n
\u201cShe was 100 & she was just pure magic \u2728.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019ve included messages here from friends of mum\u2019s & mine – because she was universally adored.<\/p>\n
\u201cAnd in return, she was totally adoring.<\/p>\n
\u201cA grandmother\u2019s love is like no other.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
Armytage said her nanny loved the colour yellow and \u201cfittingly, the autumn afternoon she passed, the light shone through the glorious Ginko tree in my garden\u201d.<\/p>\n
\u201cShe\u2019s shining with my mama now (& Banjo \ud83d\udc3e).. how lucky am I to have 3 Guardian Angels,\u201d she continued.<\/p>\n
\u201cShe deserves a good rest … but Lordy, we shall miss her.<\/p>\n

Armytage\u2019s post also included several photos of her grandmother that marked special memories for the TV star.<\/p>\n
Her friends and fellow TV personalities took to the comments section to leave touching messages.<\/p>\n

In March, Armytage sold her coastal New South Wales home. two years after she confirmed her split from former husband of four years, Richard Lavender.<\/p>\n
The three-bedroom house boasts views of Jervis Bay and sits on 658sqm.<\/p>\n
It also features two bathrooms, a light-filled kitchen, a front deck and large double living areas.<\/p>\n
The double lock-up garage, which already has undercover, carport-style parking, could be converted into a studio, games room, or sleep-out.<\/p>\n
