Leary was alleged to have taken money from the man, ostensibly to start an AAU team, rent a facility and purchase equipment, none of which was true.<\/p>\n<p>Leary was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ipm.org\/news\/2025-10-10\/former-iu-basketball-player-todd-leary-charged-on-10-felony-counts\" class=\"Link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">arrested in October<\/a> and charged with 10 felonies &#8212; five counts of fraud and five of theft.<\/p>\n<p>The plea agreement calls for a suspended jail sentence, probation and restitution to the victim.
