Then there\u2019s also Nvidia\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/2026\/02\/25\/first-look-at-nvidias-ai-system-vera-rubin-and-how-it-beats-blackwell.html\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">new AI system, Vera Rubin, to consider<\/a>, which Huang claimed would be a \u201cgenerational leap\u201d that\u2019s going to be \u201ckicking off the greatest infrastructure buildout in history.\u201d Nvidia fears it will face supply chain constraints \u201cthroughout the entire life of Vera Rubin,\u201d Huang said.<\/p>\n<p>Perhaps to Huang, the Taiwan base looks like a lifeline for that and future systems.<\/p>\n<p>Before Trump\u2019s AI Action Plan rolled out, Nvidia had previously manufactured all its AI chips exclusively in Taiwan.
