Grammy-winning R&B singer Ashanti is set to fire up her nostalgic back catalogue in Perth later this year as she brings her Rock Wit U tour to Australia and New Zealand.<\/p>\n

The 2000s star will play at Perth\u2019s Riverside Theatre on November 9, with shows in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, and Auckland to follow.<\/p>\n

Reaching global fame in 2002 with the release of her self-titled album, fans would recall early hits Foolish, Rock Wit U, and Unfoolish, which secured her number one spot on both the Billboard Top 200 and R&B Charts.<\/p>\n

Today, her music is far from out of place in throwback party playlists, with a sound that fits seamlessly between mega stars Beyonce and Mariah Carey.<\/p>\n

She expressed her excitement at returning to Aussie shores.<\/p>\n

The singer-songwriter claimed a Best Contemporary R&B Album Grammy award in 2003, has collected two American Music Awards, and released six studio albums.<\/p>\n
