Superstar Storm duo Harry Grant and Cameron Munster didn\u2019t take part in Friday\u2019s captain\u2019s run and aren\u2019t guaranteed to face the Roosters this weekend, but Queensland bench forward Trent Loiero will play after getting through limited minutes in the State of Origin opener.<\/p>\n
Grant was fantastic for the Maroons with a game-high 46 tackles to go with an audacious flick pass that led to a Thomas Flegler try, while Munster had 14 runs and set up a try as Queensland coughed up a 20-0 lead in Sydney.<\/p>\n
The Storm hasn\u2019t made a call on whether they\u2019ll play on Saturday night, with Trent Toelau and Keagan Russell-Smith expected to start if they are rested.<\/p>\n
\u201cWhether they play or not, I\u2019m not quite sure yet. We\u2019ll just see how they pull up tomorrow,\u201d Storm coach Craig Bellamy said.<\/p>\n
\u201cThey won\u2019t be doing any training today.<\/p>\n
\u201cThey\u2019d like to play, but whether it\u2019s best for them or not, we\u2019re not quite sure yet. They need to have a few more checks and then go from there. <\/p>\n
\u201cWe think Trent\u2019s going to be OK because he only played 15 minutes so he\u2019s really keen to play, and I think he\u2019ll train today.\u201d<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, Knights coach Justin Holbrook confirmed that his Origin contingent would all play against the Eels on Saturday.<\/p>\n
Kalyn Ponga will lead the side after he was sent off and copped a fine for a shoulder charge, while Blues duo Jacob Saifiti and Dylan Lucas were part of the squad but didn\u2019t get on the field. <\/p>\n
\u201cAfter Origin, Kalyn\u2019s feeling good, so he\u2019ll back-up,\u201d Holbrook said. <\/p>\n
\u201cThe other boys didn\u2019t get a run, so we\u2019re all good to go as what we\u2019ve named.\u201d<\/p>\n
The Storm need their Origin duo to play if they are to knock off a Roosters side that could look very different if Trent Robinson decides to rest a few of his stars.<\/p>\n
Melbourne is coming off a disappointing loss to the Bulldogs last week when they again surrendered a big halftime lead that infuriated their coach.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe\u2019ve already tried to tweak a few things, but there are only so many things you can tweak. The tweaks we\u2019ve made might take a week or two to work,\u201d Bellamy said.<\/p>\n
