The narrative feature competition brings together four titles: Mohamed Zran\u2019s Tunisian drama \u201cMon Ami,\u201d Morad Mostafa\u2019s Egyptian film \u201cAisha Can\u2019t Fly Away,\u201d South Korean entry \u201cDeath Drive\u201d from Park Eolgul, and German director Mascha Schilinski\u2019s \u201cSound of Falling.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tThe documentary feature competition includes Dmytro Hreshko\u2019s \u201cDivia,\u201d a co-production between Poland, Ukraine, and the Netherlands; Leigh-Ann Beverley\u2019s U.S.-produced \u201cThe Madness of Moonlight\u201d; and two Spanish entries, \u201cThe Rain Won\u2019t Let Us Fly\u201d by Ignacio Mar\u00edn and Rub\u00e9n D\u00edez, and Gonzalo Hergueta\u2019s \u201cThe Designer Is Dead.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tThe short narrative section features eight films, including \u201cPsychopomp\u201d from \u201cGame of Thrones\u201d actor <a href=\"https:\/\/variety.com\/t\/kit-harington\/\" id=\"auto-tag_kit-harington\" data-tag=\"kit-harington\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Kit Harington<\/a> and Amir Zaza\u2019s Netherlands-produced \u201cClose Your Eyes Hind.\u201d Adnan Al Rajeev\u2019s \u201cAli\u201d is a Bangladesh-Philippines co-production, while Ugn\u0117 Skonsmanait\u0117\u2019s \u201cJasmine. Home. Mother.\u201d spans Lithuania, the U.K., and the U.S. Rounding out the section are Dian Weys\u2019 France-South Africa co-production \u201cVultures,\u201d B\u00e1lint Kenyeres\u2019 \u201cThe Spectacle\u201d from France and Hungary, U.K. co-directors Kat Butterfield and Daniel Audritt\u2019s \u201cLife Goes On,\u201d and South Korean entry \u201cLip Balm\u201d from An Kwangsik.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tThe short documentary competition features Oppenheimer\u2019s \u201cThe Revolution Against Death\u201d alongside Andreas Gr\u00fctzner\u2019s German film \u201cActually, I Didn\u2019t Want to Stay Long,\u201d Pawel Chorzepa\u2019s Polish entry \u201cThe Tuners,\u201d and U.K. co-directors Alexander Kiehl and Misha Novak\u2019s \u201cGrappling Grace.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tThe short animation section includes \u201cThe Magician,\u201d a Croatia-France-Romania co-production from Bogdan Muresanu; Thomas Villepoux\u2019s Belgium-France entry \u201cJailbirds\u201d; Chilean director Daniel Lobos\u2019 \u201cLifetime Warranty\u201d; Daniel Kreizberg\u2019s \u201cAnyone Lived in a Pretty How Town,\u201d produced across Lithuania, Monaco, and the U.S.; South Korean entry \u201cWhite Hare\u201d from Jee Inkyu; and French collective effort \u201cCh\u00e8re Fin,\u201d directed by Kh\u00e9ma Cousin, Lien Franckel, Laora Le Boursicot, Alissende Masson, Jos\u00e9phine Mournier, and Cl\u00e9ment Saden.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tThe Best Short Film prize, which carries Academy Award qualifying status, will be drawn from winners across the short narrative, short documentary, and short animation sections. Oppenheimer also directs the multinational closing night selection \u201cThe End,\u201d originating from Denmark, Germany, Ireland, Italy, the U.K., Sweden, and the U.S.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tA 10-member jury will adjudicate the competition. Indonesian representatives include filmmaker, producer, and screenwriter Yosep Anggi Noen, filmmaker, cinematographer, and lecturer I Made Denny Chrisna Putra, actor Marcella Zalianty, actor-singer Annissa Nurul Shanty Kusuma Wardhani Heryadie, and filmmaker and producer Nirartha Bas Diwangkara. International jurors include New Zealand filmmaker Joseph J.U. Taylor, Italian network executive Denise Castelli, U.S. documentary filmmaker Eros Zhao, Australian documentarian Richard Todd, and Australian researcher David Hanan. Donna Smith and Dr. Lawrence Blair serve as jury advisors.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tInstitutional backing comes from Indonesia\u2019s Ministry of Culture, Dana Indonesiana, and the LPDP education endowment fund.
