{"id":701667,"date":"2026-05-29T07:01:14","date_gmt":"2026-05-29T07:01:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/701667\/"},"modified":"2026-05-29T07:01:14","modified_gmt":"2026-05-29T07:01:14","slug":"alexander-heights-shopping-centre-set-for-6-8m-upgrade-which-includes-new-alfresco-dining-playground","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/701667\/","title":{"rendered":"Alexander Heights Shopping Centre set for $6.8m upgrade which includes new alfresco dining, playground"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"css-9cqv6l-StyledPNParagraph e8utp6u0\">The Alexander Heights Shopping Centre is set for a $6.8 million face lift, headlined by a new alfresco dining area and children\u2019s playground.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-9cqv6l-StyledPNParagraph e8utp6u0\">The redevelopment will include the addition of new fresh food and dining retailers, as well as new entrances and updated mall areas, including new tiling, paint and furnishings.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-9cqv6l-StyledPNParagraph e8utp6u0\">External facade and walkways will be upgraded, including a new-look Woolworths which will offer a direct-to-boot service.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-9cqv6l-StyledPNParagraph e8utp6u0\">The car parking area will also be upgraded with added shade.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-9cqv6l-StyledPNParagraph e8utp6u0\">Erceg Management, the centre\u2019s owner and manager, is leading the redevelopment along with J. Credit: Supplied<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-9cqv6l-StyledPNParagraph e8utp6u0\">Erceg general manager Rob Staniford said he believed the redevelopment would transform the traditional suburban shopping centre experience into a vibrant meeting place for the community.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-9cqv6l-StyledPNParagraph e8utp6u0\">\u201cThe redevelopment will enhance our strong fresh food and dining offering with added services, an outdoor piazza, and children\u2019s play space,\u201d Mr Staniford said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-9cqv6l-StyledPNParagraph e8utp6u0\">\u201cIt will improve and weatherproof our carpark, and create a more environmentally friendly building with the addition of solar panels.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-9cqv6l-StyledPNParagraph e8utp6u0\">We are committed to adding value to the local area, and minimising disruption while we undertake these works.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/9b5218ae1aef1eafd2609fbc127daa3c12b47450.jpg\" alt=\"A Woolworths direct-to-boot service will be introduced as part of the upgrades.\" class=\"css-16r7l45-StyledImage en5ut4d0\"\/>Camera IconA Woolworths direct-to-boot service will be introduced as part of the upgrades.
