Jennifer Lopez<\/a> is erasing any trace of her marriage to Ben Affleck<\/a>, after the pair split in August 2024 and finalized their divorce in January of the following year.\u00a0The 56-year-old appeared to have altered the couple’s tattoo<\/a> she had inked in\u00a0honor\u00a0of the actor in 2023, as evidenced\u00a0in\u00a0a snap she shared on social media<\/a>from Memorial Day.<\/p>\n

In the photo, Jennifer wrapped her arms around her 18-year-old son, Max<\/a>, whom she shares with her ex-husband, Marc Anthony, and looked up at him lovingly. The singer sported a flowing white dress with a low-cut back, which revealed the tattoo on the right side of her ribcage.<\/p>\n

Jennifer appeared to have blurred out Ben’s name on the infinity design and left her own after their 2024 split. The A-lister got inked in 2023 in honor of Valentine’s Day, and shared the tattoo on social media at the time.\u00a0<\/p>\n

“Commitment\u2026Happy Valentine’s Day my love,” she wrote in a since-deleted post, followed by an infinity emoji to match the shape of the tattoo.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Ben had a matching tattoo inked, which featured\u00a0two arrows crossing\u00a0each other\u00a0with the letter “J” above the cross and the letter “B” below.<\/p>\n

Jennifer was not always a fan of Ben’s tattoos<\/a>, as she previously shared on\u00a0Watch What Happens Live<\/a>. “It’s awful!” she said of his back tattoo, inked in the shape of a phoenix.<\/p>\n

“I mean, I would tell him that, like, what are you doing? It has too many colors. His tattoos always have too many colors! They shouldn’t be so colorful; you know what I mean? They should be cooler.”<\/p>\n

Ben also shared rare insight into the end of their marriage with GQ<\/a>.\u00a0“There’s a tendency to look at breakups and want to identify root causes or something. But honestly…the truth is much more quotidian than probably people would believe or would be interesting,” he explained.<\/p>\n

“There’s no scandal, no soap opera, no intrigue. The truth is, when you talk to somebody, ‘Hey, what happened?’ Well, there is no, ‘This is what happened.’ It’s just a story about people trying to figure out their lives and relationships in ways that we all\u00a0sort of\u00a0normally do.”<\/p>\n
