The round was led by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.avataar.vc\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Avataar Ventures<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/dst.gov.in\/national-quantum-mission-nqm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">India\u2019s National Quantum Mission (NQM)<\/a>, with participation from both new and existing investors.<\/p>\n<p>Founded by Dr. Nagendra Nagaraja, QpiAI has developed a proprietary full-stack quantum computing platform combining custom hardware and advanced software aimed at real-world enterprise applications. The company\u2019s current deployments span domains such as materials science and drug discovery and include customers from global automotive and life sciences sectors.<\/p>\n<p>QpiAI\u2019s team includes more than two dozen Ph.D. researchers with backgrounds in quantum computing and AI from leading institutions in the U.S. and Europe. The company maintains operations across India, Finland, and the United States.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Nagaraja stated that the new funding will enable QpiAI to \u201caccelerate the delivery of utility-scale quantum computers with logical qubits,\u201d expanding beyond NISQ (Noisy Intermediate-Scale Quantum) systems used for education and algorithm prototyping.
