Mikel Arteta<\/a> has called on Arsenal<\/a> to own the moment and win the club’s first Champions League<\/a> title against Paris Saint-Germain<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Arsenal take on the European champions in Budapest tomorrow evening in club football’s biggest game.<\/p>\n

It’s a firstChampions League<\/a> final for two decades for Arsenal, and only the club’s second appearance in the decider. Arsenal have never won the Champions League before, and face a tough task against a Paris Saint-Germain team fresh from last season’s triumph.<\/p>\n

However, Arteta said his side are perfectly prepared for the occasion and called on thePremier League<\/a> champions to seize their moment.<\/p>\n

“The preparation has been really good, really focused, really positive. We are here because we earned the right to be here,” Arteta said at hispre-match press conference.<\/a><\/p>\n

“In the manner that we have played and performed in the competition, and tomorrow on that field we are going to have to earn the right to go and win the trophy.<\/p>\n

“I think it is the opportunity to own the moment because, as you said, it is the second time in our history that we are here and we have the opportunity tomorrow to write a new chapter in the history of this football club.<\/p>\n

“In order to do that, we have to play tomorrow with such clarity, a lot of courage and a relentless desire to win. If we have those three aspects, I am sure we are going to be close to winning.<\/p>\n

“It will mean something new for all of us, we know how tough it is at a club like Arsenal to write new history, but that is the aim and why we are all excited and want to make it happen.<\/p>\n

Arteta provided an update on the fitness of his squad against Paris Saint-Germain.
