\n\tBefore accused sexual harasser Neil deGrasse Tyson<\/a> joined the show for a softball interview, \u201cReal Time\u201d host Bill Maher<\/a> dedicated a large chunk of his monologue Friday night to President Trump\u2019s unfortunate Freedom 250<\/a> concert series on the National Mall in Washington, D.C., honoring America\u2019s 250th birthday on July 6.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cWe\u2019re having a 250th birthday party for America. A concert,\u201d offered Maher. \u201cThey announced the lineup: Vanilla Ice, Milli Vanilli, Morris Day, Bret Michaels<\/a>. I think this is very admirable about the president \u2014 it shows that he\u2019s concerned for the unemployed.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tMuch like Trump\u2019s embarrassing 2017 pre-inauguration concert, which boasted the likes of The Piano Guys and someone called DJ Ravidrums, his Freedom 250 Concert has been plagued by a large number of dropouts<\/a>, with numerous artists alleging they were misled and unaware of Trump\u2019s involvement before signing on. Rocker Bret Michaels<\/a>, R&B group The Commodores, rapper Young MC, Morris Day and the Time, and the original singers of Milli Vanilli have all announced they\u2019re pulling out of the show. Country star Martina McBride took to Twitter to announce she was bowing out, writing<\/a>, \u201cI was presented with an opportunity to perform at a nonpartisan event but that turned out to be misleading.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tCue Maher: \u201cAnd then, after they announced this all-star lineup, a lot of them said, \u2018No, what are you talking about? We\u2019re not playing.\u2019 That\u2019s got to hurt a lot when you can\u2019t close the deal with Milli Vanilli.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tIn addition to Milli Vanilli\u2019s Fab Morvan, who rather infamously only lip-synced on the group\u2019s albums, rappers Vanilla Ice and Flo Rida are still scheduled to perform at the Freedom 250 concert series, which will run June 25 to July 10.<\/p>\n

\n\tAnd Maher wasn\u2019t done taking shots at Trump.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cHere\u2019s something in the category of wow, we never used to be this country: They\u2019re putting out a $250 bill with Trump\u2019s face on it,\u201d he cracked. \u201cI guess it\u2019s commemorative. Republicans in Congress are thrilled about it. They can\u2019t wait to carry it in their wallet.
