A man is on the run after crashing a car into a house in Melbourne’s east and allegedly stabbing an occupant in what police believe was a targeted attack.<\/p>\n
Police said the man had also allegedly stabbed a person at a different property several hours before the incident, at Dandenong North.<\/p>\n
Victoria Police said a silver Honda CRV was deliberately crashed into a property in Exner Street, Dandenong North, about 10:15am.<\/p>\n
The male driver got out of the vehicle and stabbed the female occupant of the house, who police said was known to the man.<\/p>\n
The women suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was treated at the scene before being taken to hospital.<\/p>\n
The alleged offender fled the scene on foot and is yet to be caught.<\/p>\n
He is described as African in appearance and was dressed in a brown shirt and black pants.<\/p>\n
Victoria Police advised people not to approach the man and to contact police if they see him.<\/p>\n
Police said the man also stabbed another man at a property in Bradman Terrace, Epping, about 7:30am.<\/p>\n
Police said the victim at Epping, who suffered non-life-threatening injuries, was also known to the man.<\/p>\n
Victoria Police urged anyone who sees the assailant to call Triple Zero (000).<\/p>\n
