Accused war criminal Ben Roberts-Smith<\/a> was inside the Broncos<\/a> dressing rooms on game day after the reigning NRL<\/a> premiers were stunned by lowly St George Illawarra<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Dragons snapped a 15-game losing streak by downing Brisbane 30-26<\/a> at Suncorp Stadium<\/a> on Sunday.<\/p>\n

And while players looked dejected in the home sheds following the game, there was another figure present who was hard to miss.<\/p>\n

The former SAS soldier was there with his daughters, who were reportedly invited into the sheds by Broncos welfare manager Adam Walsh, who is also a former SAS soldier.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Broncos invited my daughters today because of all the things they have been through and we were very grateful,\u201d Roberts-Smith told News Corp.<\/p>\n

It is unclear whether Roberts-Smith himself was formally invited into the team\u2019s inner sanctum.<\/p>\n

Nine.com.au has contacted the Broncos for comment.<\/p>\n

Roberts-Smith was arrested by Australian Federal Police at Sydney Airport last month<\/a> and has been charged with five counts of war crime – murder.<\/p>\n

The 47-year-old spent more than a week in prison before being released on bail<\/a>.<\/p>\n

He has denied all allegations against him.<\/p>\n

Roberts-Smith\u2019s alleged war crimes were first reported by the now-Nine owned Fairfax Media in 2018.<\/p>\n

He sued for defamation in the Federal Court but lost, with a judge finding the accusations of murder were, on the balance of probabilities, true.<\/p>\n

He failed to overturn the findings on appeal to the full Federal Court and the High Court.<\/p>\n

The Broncos have lost their last four games in a row and sit 11th on the NRL ladder.<\/p>\n
