In must-watch viewing, Jonathan Brown will make his triumphant return to Fox Footy\u2019s On the Couch on Monday night, following his recovery from a health scare. <\/p>\n

Brown underwent surgery in March to remove a low-grade brain tumour after the daunting discovery was made in a routine scan. <\/p>\n

The extended football community wrapped its arms around the 256-game Brisbane Lions legend, who recently courageously spoke of how his life was suddenly turned upside down. <\/p>\n

\u201cI didn\u2019t know – I was walking around with a ticking time bomb in my head. So, it\u2019s a great message for everyone – not just ex-footballers. For everyone,\u201d Brown told great mate Garry Lyon in a sit-down interview aired on Fox Footy in May. <\/p>\n

\u201cYour mind does go to the worst – you think \u2018s\u2014, am I in trouble here?\u2019 There was something thick in the throat, and I probably haven\u2019t had that a hell of a lot.\u201d<\/p>\n

But after recovering in Queensland and ticking the relevant health boxes, the beloved Brown – who\u2019s kept a close eye on the footy – returns to television screens around the country to help recap an action-packed Round 12.<\/p>\n

He\u2019ll do it alongside Jack Riewoldt, Nathan Buckley and Jordan Lewis, after Geelong champion Tom Hawkins admirably stepped in during Brown\u2019s absence. <\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m looking forward to getting back to work, because I probably feel like a professional golfer at the moment, because that\u2019s all I\u2019m allowed to do,\u201d Brown said in May. <\/p>\n

\u201cIn all seriousness, I\u2019ve been looking forward to getting back and to gently ease back into it in a few weeks\u2019 time, and then hopefully I\u2019ll be back full-time by maybe the end of June and watch the run up to the finals.\u201d<\/p>\n

Brown is also plotting his return to Fox Footy\u2019s Friday Night Footy coverage in the coming weeks, where he\u2019ll finally get the opportunity to present Browny\u2019s Meat Tray himself. <\/p>\n
