Kylie Minogue <\/a>has called late INXS<\/a> rocker Michael Hutchence<\/a> the \u2018love of her life\u2019 in a candid new interview. <\/p>\n

The Aussie star and pop princess<\/a>, 58, reflected on their short-lived but impactful relationship after breaking down over the tragic loss in her Netflix docuseries Kylie<\/a>. <\/p>\n

Kylie Minogue has said she thinks Michael Hutchence was the love of her life.\u00a0PA\/AAP<\/p>\n

Minogue and Hutchence, who died at the age of 37 in 1997, dated from 1989 to 1991. <\/p>\n

The singer opened up about their relationship in a chat with The Sydney Morning Herald.<\/a> When asked if she thinks he was the love of her life she replied: \u201cYes, probably.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve had lots of relationships<\/a>, some were love, some were not. <\/p>\n

\u201cMy relationship with him, or our relationship at the time, was not for that long, but it had a profound effect on me.\u201d<\/p>\n

She also touched on her new Netflix documentary, called Kylie, <\/a>where she spoke about their romance and cried on camera.<\/p>\n

About tearing up while filming for Netflix, she recalled: \u201cYou could hear a pin drop.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cBut I also knew that I was holding on to a lot of stuff.\u201d<\/p>\n

Following his romance and split with Minogue, the rocker dated model Helena Christensen and went on to date late presenter Paula Yates.<\/a><\/p>\n

Minogue has also had some high-profile romances in her time, and has dated the likes of Olivier Martinez and Jason Donovan.<\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cHe was the first in so many ways. And of those firsts was heartbreak. I was devastated,\u201d Minogue said of Hutchence in her Netflix documentary.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou go on and live your lives, but it was definitely an amazing point in time and I\u2019ve probably been looking for something like that ever since and I haven\u2019t got it.\u201d<\/p>\n

She added that despite his death, she still feels him around her. <\/p>\n

\u201cThis is going to sound totally crazy, but I felt him going, \u2018It will be OK,\u2019\u201d she said in the docuseries about his funeral all those years ago. <\/p>\n
