It\u2019s been long rumoured and NVIDIA has today announced RTX Spark, its Widows chipset that is set to change laptops forever.<\/p>\n
RTX Spark will essentially power laptops and desktop computers both on the CPU and GPU sides, competing with the likes of Apple, Intel, AMD and Qualcomm. It\u2019s said that laptops with RTX Spark will meet or beat the most powerful thin and light laptop machines ever.<\/p>\n

The NVIDIA RTX Spark is Arm-based, meaning that Windows software made for Intel and AMD processors will need to run through emulation, but Microsoft has spent years getting applications ready for this moment.<\/p>\n
NVIDIA gave the example of RTX Spark being able to render a 90GB 3D scene, edit 12K resolution video play Indiana Jones and the Great Circle at a smooth 100FPS at 1440p all in a 14mm thick laptop.<\/p>\n

There\u2019s over 30 laptops and 10 desktops with RTX Spark on the way with NVIDIA announcing these ones so far:<\/p>\n
ASUS ProArt P14
\nASUS ProArt P16
\nDell XPS 16
\nHP OmniBook X 14
\nHP OmniBook Ultra 16
\nLenovo Yoga Pro 9i
\nMicrosoft Surface Laptop Ultra
\nMSI Prestige N16 Flip AI+<\/p>\n
It\u2019s also been confirmed that special versions of Adobe Premiere and Photoshop are on the way that take advantage of NVIDIA\u2019s new chip for better performance with more efficiency, and there\u2019s a bunch of other developers that NVIDIA is working with directly as well.<\/p>\n
