<\/p>\nExclusive: In the eyes of most, Quinn and Alex Everly had it made. With Quinn holding a PhD in medical science and Alex operating as a qualified general practitioner, they had the credentials most people spend a lifetime chasing.<\/p>\n
But they stunned everyone by leaving the medical industry behind in favour of a very different career path \u2013 running Australia\u2019s biggest OnlyFans agency.<\/p>\n

This couple left a career in medicine behind for an industry most would sneer at. \u00a0Stan<\/p>\n
Their story started during their studies. Quinn was a PhD candidate, dancing at a strip club to pay her bills, and Alex was working toward his GP fellowship. <\/p>\n
One evening, Alex came into Quinn\u2019s club as a customer, and their chemistry was instant. So, of course, he came in again, and again, and again, before finally asking Quinn out on a date. And the rest, as they say, is history. <\/p>\n
Things moved quickly; they were married<\/a> within two years of meeting one another, and during that time, she finished her PhD, and he finished his fellowship. <\/p>\n While Alex stayed the course and began work as a GP, Quinn couldn\u2019t shake the feeling that she was meant for something different than a career in academics. <\/p>\n \u201cI ended up just loving the [adult] industry and really wanting to be a part of it full-time,\u201d she tells nine.com.au. <\/p>\n \u201cSo, I ended up going to content creation like many people did during COVID.\u201d<\/p>\n Quinn started an OnlyFans account<\/a>, and within six months, she was earning tens of thousands every week. <\/p>\n \u201cAlex was up late posting on Reddit for me and things like that when I was a content creator,\u201d she laughs. <\/p>\n Eventually, the couple realised that something was missing in the industry. <\/p>\n While there were plenty of content creators<\/a> joining the platform in Australia, there was no service to help them build their careers and thrive in the industry. <\/p>\n That\u2019s when the couple came up with the idea for Blue Rose Talent (otherwise known as The Blue Rose Agency). <\/p>\n At this point, Alex had left his career in medicine to support his wife\u2019s business endeavour. <\/p>\n Quinn and Alex had an unconventional meeting, but their connection was instant. \u00a0Instagram\/thequinneverly<\/p>\n \u201cIt just reached a point where it wasn\u2019t even worth me working as a doctor anymore,\u201d he says. <\/p>\n \u201cShe was so busy and had so much to do, I started helping her.\u201d<\/p>\n While Quinn\u2019s family have always been on her side when it comes to her career \u2013 those who know about it at least \u2013 Alex\u2019s family weren\u2019t so sure at first. <\/p>\n \u201cBoth my parents are doctors as well,\u201d he explains.<\/p>\n \u201cMy dad\u2019s very supportive no matter what. Mum took a little [more convincing]. <\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s been a bit of a journey, I think. But everyone came around in the end.\u201d<\/p>\n And while many might assume that things couldn\u2019t get crazier, the couple decided to throw themselves further into the deep end with the launch of the new reality show Turned On: Dirty, Sexy, Money<\/a>. <\/p>\n The show follows the couple and the women signed to their agency. Imagine Selling Sunset<\/a>, but instead of a real estate agents in Los Angeles, its OnlyFans creators on the Gold Coast<\/a>. <\/p>\n \u00a0\u201cIt was a decision that we didn\u2019t take lightly and it\u2019s been a work in progress for quite a while\u201d Quinn explains. <\/p>\n \u201cBut I feel really strongly about showing the good, the bad, and the ugly of this industry. <\/p>\n \u201cAnd I think that there\u2019s a lot of controversy, a lot of headlines, stereotypes, stigma, and preconceived notions around who we are and what we do as content creators.<\/p>\n \u201cI really want to be able to show that we are three-dimensional people. We are real people. We\u2019re just like everyone else, and there\u2019s so many pros and cons of doing this job.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cYou get to show everything. And we have done that,\u201d she says. <\/p>\n The decision to bring TV cameras into an already chaotic environment came down to the fact that it allowed Quinn and Alex to share a more nuanced look at the industry. <\/p>\n \u201cSo, I think anyone who watches it, they\u2019re going to walk away with an actually real idea of what it\u2019s like.\u201d<\/p>\n Within six months Quinn was making major money on OnlyFans and soon decided to open her own agency to help others do the same. It\u2019s now been almost 10 years that Quinn has worked in the adult content creation industry, and today, she sees herself as more of a mentor to the women signed to her agency. <\/p>\n Or, in Alex\u2019s words, \u201ca momager\u201d.<\/p>\n \u201cI started content creation basically from scratch with no experience or knowledge, and kind of clawed my way up to making life-changing money on the platform,\u201d she says. <\/p>\n \u201cSo, I think I\u2019m in a good position to give advice and guide them, and I love being a mentor to them. <\/p>\n \u201cIt is a lot of pressure, and I definitely put a lot of pressure on myself to be perfect and not let anyone down, which is hard, but I wouldn\u2019t have it any other way.\u201d<\/p>\n While some might say she\u2019s just in it for the money, Quinn\u2019s true motivations come out when asked her what she\u2019s hoping to get out of the show. <\/p>\n She could have said notoriety for herself or her agency, or even just a few extra zeros on the end of her cheque, but instead for Quinn, it\u2019s all about her clients. <\/p>\n \u201cIf they are able to get mainstream exposure and for people to get to know them and love them, which I hope that they will, that could open up lots of opportunities for them outside of just being an OnlyFans creator,\u201d she explains. <\/p>\n The cast of Turned On: Dirty Sexy Money includes (L to R): Lily Philips, Annie Knight, Ruby Drew, Hayley Summers, Mia Bailey, Chloe Mira and April and Amelia Maddison. \u201cSome of our clients want to become mainstream influencers, or they want to do other work in the entertainment industry, and I think that this show might give them that opportunity. <\/p>\n \u201cSo, it\u2019s huge.
