DK Metcalf<\/a> may have signed a historic extension with the Pittsburgh Steelers<\/a> in 2025, but he just lost his place among the top-five highest-paid wide receivers in the NFL following a massive contract the Atlanta Falcons<\/a> pulled off.<\/p>\n

On Tuesday, the Falcons signed 2022 first-round wide receiver Drake London<\/a> to a four-year, $141 million contract extension. His average annual value of $35.25 million takes the No. 3 spot among the highest-paid wideouts, which knocked DK Metcalf’s $33 million down to No. 6.<\/p>\n

Here’s a look at the current top-five highest-paid wide receivers following London’s extension, now excluding Metcalf:<\/p>\n

Drake London, $35.25 million (Atlanta Falcons)<\/p>\n

Metcalf, who was traded to Pittsburgh in March 2025, had a solid debut season with the Steelers<\/a>, recording 850 receiving yards and six touchdowns on 59 catches.<\/p>\n

London wasn’t the only big NFL name to receive a massive extension on Tuesday, as the Steelers also signed edge rusher Nick Herbig<\/a> to a new four-year contract worth $100 million.<\/p>\n
