Cassie Ventura has left the US and has no intentions of returning to the country, according to new court documents.<\/p>\n
The \u201cLong Way 2 Go\u201d hitmaker filed an official declaration dated May 1 as part of her ongoing lawsuit against male sex worker Clayton Howard, where she states: \u201cI reside outside of the United States. Getty Images for Roc Nation<\/p>\n It remains unclear as to where Ventura has settled down or when she made the move, but the timing comes nearly a year after the singer testified in her ex Sean \u201cDiddy\u201d Combs\u2019 racketeering and sex trafficking case. <\/p>\n As part of the federal criminal trial \u2014 which took place in New York \u2014 she also submitted a statement saying she is a \u201ccitizen of the United States\u201d and is \u201cnot a resident of the state of California.\u201d <\/p>\n While giving her testimony against Combs, Ventura told the jury of the alleged years of abuse she suffered during her relationship with him, which lasted from 2007 until 2018.<\/p>\n During her testimony (shown above is a courtroom sketch of Ventura during Combs\u2019 trial), Ventura told the jury of the years of physical and emotional abuse she suffered during her relationship with Combs.
