Forgetting your passport is potentially the biggest mistake you can make when heading to the airport<\/a> for an international trip.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Chris Hemsworth<\/a> took it to the next level, however, when he mistakenly packed his son\u2019s passport for his daughter, only realising the error once he reached the departure gate.<\/p>\n

It turns out that Chris Hemsworth is just like us, he too makes classic airport mistakes. \u00a0Instagram\/@elsapataky<\/p>\n

Hemsworth made the realisation when sitting down for an interview with Harper\u2019s Bazaar Arabia<\/a> alongside his wife, Elsa Pataky<\/a>.<\/p>\n

When asked who\u2019s most likely to forget their passport, they both immediately pointed at each other, but Hemsworth<\/a> quickly forfeited the fight.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cI actually went to the airport once, and I had my daughter\u2019s passport instead of my son\u2019s passport,\u201d Hemsworth shared.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cThey kind of look the same,\u201d he added before Pataky jumped in to correct. \u201cThey don\u2019t.\u201d<\/p>\n

Hemsworth went on to say that he tried to get his daughter<\/a> through security with his son\u2019s passport, laughing as he explained that he pointed to the picture and said, \u201cThis is her\u201d.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The couple are parents to three kids, India Rose, Tristan and Sasha. \u00a0Instagram\/Elsa Pataky<\/p>\n

\u201cThey were like, \u2018That\u2019s a boy\u2019,\u201d he recalled.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cSo, yeah, that didn\u2019t work.\u201d<\/p>\n

Pataky and Hemsworth have been together for nearly 16 years<\/a> now, after being first introduced by Hemsworth\u2019s talent agent back in 2010.\u00a0<\/p>\n

They officially started dating in September that same year, and by December, they were married<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

They announced their first pregnancy just a little over a year after their wedding in January 2012, welcoming their baby girl, India Rose, on May 11.<\/p>\n

Their second pregnancy was announced in January 2014, and their twin boys, Tristan and Sasha, were born on March 18.\u00a0<\/p>\n

In an interview with People<\/a> earlier this year, Hemsworth revealed that the key to their whirlwind romance turned 16-year marriage is honesty, but not in the way you\u2019d expect.\u00a0<\/p>\n

In December this year, the couple will be celebrating their 16th wedding anniversary. \u00a0EPA\/AAP<\/p>\n

\u201cThere\u2019s an honesty, the north star of truth, that you\u2019re going to get with Elsa,\u201d he said.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cI can show something to a bunch of other people, and they might be like, \u2018Oh, great work,\u2019 but Elsa will tell me if it sucks.<\/p>\n

\u201c[She] knows who I am, and we know what each other can do.\u201d<\/p>\n
