Julian Cash<\/a> and Lloyd Glasspool<\/a> extended their winning streak to 22 matches on Friday at the Cincinnati Open<\/a>, where they surged into their 11th tour-level semi-final of the season.<\/p>\n The British stars edged sixth seeds Simone Bolelli<\/a> and Andrea Vavassori<\/a> 7-6(7), 7-6(4), earning their first Lexus ATP Head2Head win (1-2) against the Italians. Cash and Glasspool, who are No. 1 in the PIF ATP Live Doubles Teams Rankings, have already secured their debut spot at the year-end Nitto ATP Finals<\/a>.<\/p>\n Cash and Glasspool are chasing their fifth consecutive title after triumphs in Eastbourne, Queen\u2019s Club, Wimbledon<\/a> and Toronto. With their win at the All England Club, they became the first all-British team to win a major men\u2019s doubles title since 1936. They then backed it up by saving four championship points to defeat countrymen Joe Salisbury<\/a> and Neal Skupski<\/a> for their first ATP Masters 1000 title in Toronto.<\/p>\n They now boast a 50-11 tour-level record in 2025, according to the Infosys ATP Win\/Loss Index. Aiming to maintain their streak in Cincinnati, the second seeds face a semi-final showdown with Rajeev Ram<\/a> and Nikola Mektic<\/a>, who beat seventh seeds Christian Harrison<\/a> and Evan King<\/a> 6-4, 6-4.<\/p>\n In the top half of the draw, Salisbury and Skupski continued to bounce back from their championship-match defeat in Toronto by topping defending champions Marcelo Arevalo<\/a> and Mate Pavic<\/a> 6-4, 6-3 to reach the last four.<\/p>\n Salisbury and Skupski, who are No. 5 in the PIF ATP Live Doubles Teams Rankings, set a meeting with singles stars Lorenzo Musetti<\/a> and Lorenzo Sonego<\/a>, who outlasted Francisco Cabral<\/a> and Lucas Miedler<\/a> 6-4, 3-6, 10-6.
