He posted an emotional video on Instagram he captioned, &#8220;Thank You, Football.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p id=\"inline-text-4\" class=\"my-[18px] [&amp;_a]:text-primary my-f-1.5\" q:key=\"0\" q:id=\"6b\">In the video he said, &#8220;As I enter this next chapter with CBS Sports and &#8216;The NFL Today,&#8217; I&#8217;m so blessed to continue doing what I love most &#8212; being around the greatest game in the world.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Vanessa gives Wilson a shoutout on his big news<\/p>\n<p id=\"inline-text-7\" class=\"my-[18px] [&amp;_a]:text-primary my-f-1.5\" q:key=\"0\" q:id=\"6l\">While the congratulations poured in, Kobe Bryant&#8217;s widow Vanessa posted her reaction to the video on her IG Story where she wrote two words: &#8220;Congratulations, brother!&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>How they know each other<\/p>\n<p id=\"inline-text-9\" class=\"my-[18px] [&amp;_a]:text-primary my-f-1.5\" q:key=\"0\" q:id=\"6r\">Wilson and his wife Ciara are very close to Vanessa and her family. We&#8217;ve seen Ciara and Vanessa posting together a lot <a href=\"https:\/\/www.si.com\/onsi\/athlete-lifestyle\/relationships\/ciara-hangs-with-boo-vanessa-bryant-in-tongue-wagging-fun-disneyland-date\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">like their tongue-wagging rollercoaster ride<\/a> at Disneyland together. We&#8217;ve also seen Vanessa <a href=\"https:\/\/www.si.com\/onsi\/athlete-lifestyle\/relationships\/russell-wilson-wife-ciara-red-hot-gift-from-vanessa-bryant-eagles-game\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">gifting Wilson some sweet Kobe sneakers<\/a> and Nike Grinch cleats for the holidays.<\/p>\n<p id=\"inline-text-11\" class=\"my-[18px] [&amp;_a]:text-primary my-f-1.5\" q:key=\"0\" q:id=\"6y\">Vanessa and Wilson also were seen in a birthday post together where<a href=\"https:\/\/www.si.com\/onsi\/athlete-lifestyle\/relationships\/vanessa-bryant-with-wacky-fit-wishes-brother-russell-wilson-happy-birthday\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\"> she had on a wacky fit <\/a>and referred to him as &#8220;brother&#8221; then as well. Their kids are also very close as seen below.<\/p>\n<p id=\"inline-text-13\" class=\"my-[18px] [&amp;_a]:text-primary my-f-1.5\" q:key=\"0\" q:id=\"75\">Ciara has also given <a href=\"https:\/\/www.si.com\/onsi\/athlete-lifestyle\/news\/vanessa-bryant-bestie-ciara-gives-kobe-tribute-in-ripped-jeans-fit\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Kobe tributes before like with this ripped jeans fit<\/a> post.<\/p>\n<p id=\"inline-text-14\" class=\"my-[18px] [&amp;_a]:text-primary my-f-1.5\" q:key=\"0\" q:id=\"78\">Wilson and Ciara have been married since 2016 and they have three kids together in daughter Sienna, 9, son Win, 5, and daughter Amora, 2.
