If you’re a sports radio host in Dallas, you pretty much never run out of things to talk about.<\/p>\n

With a sports scene like D-FW’s, from the Cowboys<\/a> drama to the Rangers<\/a>, Mavericks<\/a> and Stars<\/a> to a hotbed of college sports fandoms, there’s never a dull moment in Dallas sports radio. And some of the same voices have been doing it for decades.<\/p>\n Dallas has two full-time sports radio stations in 96.7 FM\/1310 The Ticket (KTCK-AM) and 105.3 The Fan (KRLD-FM). While they’re usually warring over ratings, both stations are loaded with talent and longevity.<\/p>\n Article continues below this ad<\/p>\n Here’s a list of the five longest-tenured weekday sports radio hosts on the Dallas airwaves, some of them even having been on since the Cowboys were winning Super Bowls \u2014 yes, that long!<\/p>\n 5. Gavin Dawson \u2014 The Fan<\/p>\n The General of the G-Bag Nation has been on the Dallas airwaves since 2010. He’s the lead host for The Fan’s afternoon drive show from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m.<\/p>\n 4.
