{"id":714785,"date":"2026-06-04T12:53:10","date_gmt":"2026-06-04T12:53:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/714785\/"},"modified":"2026-06-04T12:53:10","modified_gmt":"2026-06-04T12:53:10","slug":"toprak-backs-nicolo-bulega-for-special-results-in-motogp-with-ducati","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/714785\/","title":{"rendered":"Toprak backs Nicolo Bulega for \u201cspecial results\u201d in MotoGP with Ducati"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Toprak Razgatlioglu believes former WorldSBK title rival Nicolo Bulega deserves a place in MotoGP next season and can achieve \u201cspecial results\u201d, especially if he secures a Ducati ride.<\/p>\n<p>Bulega was Razgatlioglu\u2019s main rival during his back-to-back BMW titles in 2024 and 2025.<\/p>\n<p>Their paths split when Razgatlioglu moved to MotoGP with Pramac Yamaha for 2026.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.crash.net\/wsbk\/racer\/1043899\/nicolo-bulega\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Bulega<\/a> &#8211; who made a MotoGP debut as Marc Marquez\u2019s replacement at the end of last season &#8211; remained in WorldSBK, where he is unbeaten after the opening 18 races.<\/p>\n<p>However, the Italian has also taken part in Ducati testing for the new 850cc\/Pirelli era and is tipped to join VR46 next season.<\/p>\n<p> Article continues below ADVERTISEMENT<\/p>\n<p> Article continues below ADVERTISEMENT<\/p>\n<p>    <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/gng_1317263_hires_1600x900.jpg\"   type=\"image\/jpeg\" alt=\"Toprak Razgatlioglu, 2026 Italian MotoGP.\" loading=\"lazy\" style=\"aspect-ratio:1.78\"\/> <\/p>\n<p>Toprak Razgatlioglu, 2026 Italian MotoGP.<\/p>\n<p> \u00a9\u00a0Gold and Goose<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think Bulega deserves to be in MotoGP, because he\u2019s a really fast rider,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.crash.net\/wsbk\/racer\/995265\/toprak-razgatlioglu\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Razgatlioglu<\/a> said at Mugello. \u201cAlso he\u2019s riding the Ducati, so I think it\u2019s a good opportunity if Ducati brings him to<a href=\"https:\/\/www.crash.net\/motogp\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"> MotoGP<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe\u2019s still young. 26. I think his riding style is like MotoGP. If Ducati bring him here, I think he can do very special results &#8211; this is my opinion, especially with the Ducati.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe will see. But he deserves it because he\u2019s really strong in Superbike, so he needs to come also to MotoGP. This is my opinion. I hope Ducati keep him and bring him to MotoGP.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf not Ducati, I think he\u2019ll look at a different team. I\u2019m a fan of the Baggers! I really enjoy watching the Baggers,\u201d Razgatlioglu \u00a0said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m happy for him. Still he\u2019s a fast rider, a clever rider\u2026 still a bit crazy! If he finds a seat in Superbike, in my opinion he\u2019s a top five rider always.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019ve raced with him.
