{"id":716076,"date":"2026-06-05T03:23:09","date_gmt":"2026-06-05T03:23:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/716076\/"},"modified":"2026-06-05T03:23:09","modified_gmt":"2026-06-05T03:23:09","slug":"trent-williams-on-the-rams-addition-of-myles-garrett-it-sucks","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/716076\/","title":{"rendered":"Trent Williams on the Rams&#8217; addition of Myles Garrett: It sucks"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Rams\u2019 trade for Myles Garrett on Monday made the reigning Defensive Player of the Year the NFC West\u2019s problem. <\/p>\n<p>While the other three teams in the AFC North were celebrating, the 49ers, Cardinals and Seahawks were <a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcsports.com\/nfl\/profootballtalk\/rumor-mill\/news\/49ers-ol-coach-calls-myles-garrett-an-all-time-great-who-presents-a-good-challenge\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">already watching film<\/a> on the Rams\u2019 new edge rusher.<\/p>\n<p>49ers left tackle Trent Williams was asked about Garrett joining the Rams and summed things up for the rest of the entire division.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt sucks,\u201d Williams said to laughter, via video from the team.<\/p>\n<p>In the 49ers\u2019 26-8 win over the Browns last season, Garrett had a sack and three quarterback hits.
