The\u00a0Marathon<\/a>\u00a0free-to-play week has been extended by two days as a result of downtime caused by server issues at the game\u2019s Season 2 launch.<\/p>\n

That means Aussies will have until 12 June to play the shooter for free, rather than until 10 June as originally planned<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are extending\u00a0Marathon\u2018s Open Play Week until June 11 [in the USA],\u201d reads an in-game message to players. \u201cWe know the downtime interrupted not jsut your runs but your plans, and we want to recognize that inconvenience.\u201d<\/p>\n

The message also came with 50 Silk, the in-game currency used to progress battle passes.<\/p>\n
